Burner.

In the burner, the fuel, evaporating from the evaporating gasket, is distributed through the combustion chamber. In the combustion chamber burns the air-fuel mixture, thereby heating the heat exchanger.

During repair or routine maintenance of heaters, the following conversion works may be additionally performed:

• installation of an outdoor temperature sensor for optimal control of the heater operation.

• installation of the burner with a hood.

Installing the burner with a hood.

For the re-equipment of the heater, special repair kits are needed:

for 12 V heaters - Ident.-№ 679 84A;

for 24 V heaters - Id.-№ 679 56A

The kit includes: 1 burner with a hood, 1 combustion chamber, 3 screws EJOT FDS SF.

The burner is replaced as follows:

1. Remove the burner with a combustion chamber.

2. Insert the glow plug / flame sensor into the burner with the hood (cable in the direction of the hole for the cable gland in the hood) and fasten it with a screw.

3. Plug the glow plug / flame sensor cable through the hole in the blend.

4. Tighten the screw to a torque of 0.8 ± 0.08 Nm.

5. Insert the new seal into the groove of the heat exchanger flange.

6. Install the combustion chamber and secure with screws.

7. Tighten the screws to 4.0 ± 0.4 Nm. 8. Screw the burner with the hood into the combustion chamber.

9. Secure the hood and combustion chamber with EJOT FDS screws (10).

10. Tighten the EJOT FDS SF screws with a torque of 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm.

11. Insert the fuel intake sleeve into the heat exchanger housing.

12. Pass the cable of the glow plug / flame sensor through the heat exchanger and put a sleeve on it.

13. Install the air blower.

14. Install the control unit.

15. Put on the gasket.

16. Assemble the hull.

Burner replacement.

Dismantling.

1. Remove the cover.

2. Remove the gasket.

3. Remove the control unit.

4. Remove the air blower.

Note: Operations from the 5th to the 11th should be carried out if the heater has a burner without a hood, and from 12th to 16th a burner with a hood.

5. Remove the torch retaining clip with a lever.

6. Remove the glow plug / flame sensor sleeve from the heat exchanger by pushing it.

7. If necessary, carefully bend the safety cover of the glow plug cable / flame sensor on the combustion chamber.

8. Remove the burner.

9. Unscrew the screw.

10. Remove the glow plug / flame sensor from the burner.

11. Remove the burner.

12. Remove the EJOT FDS SF screws.

13. Remove the glow plug / flame sensor sleeve from the heat exchanger by pressing it and the burner with the hood from the combustion chamber.

14. Unscrew the screw.

15. Remove the glow plug / flame sensor from the burner with the hood.

16. Remove the burner with a hood.

17. Work with the removed components.

Installation.

Note: Operations from the 1st to the 5th should be carried out if the heater has a burner without a hood, and from the 6th to the 13th it is necessary to carry out a burner with a hood.

1. Insert the glow plug / flame sensor into the burner (with the cable in the direction of the hole for the sleeve) and secure with a screw.

2. Tighten the screw to a torque of 0.8 ± 0.8 Nm.

3. Install the burner and insert the glow plug / flame sensor into the heat exchanger.

4. Secure the burner with the latch.

5. Run the cable of the glow plug / flame sensor under the safety strip on the combustion chamber and through the opening in the heat exchanger housing. If the pad is folded down, bend it back.

6. Insert the glow plug / flame sensor into the burner with the hood (cable in the direction of the hole for the sleeve in the hood) and fasten it with a screw.

7. Pass the cable of the glow plug / flame sensor through the hole in the blend.

8. Tighten the screw to a torque of 0.8 ± 0.08 Nm.

9. Screw the burner with the hood into the combustion chamber.

10. Insert the fuel intake sleeve into the heat exchanger housing.

11. Secure the hood and the combustion chamber with EJOT FDS screws.

12. Tighten the EJOT FDS SF screws to 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm.

13. Pass the glow plug / flame sensor cable through the heat exchanger and put a sleeve on it.

14. Install air blower.

15. Install the control unit.

16. Put on the gasket.

17. Install the cover.
