Besides the new case, comfortable for service, device has leakproof connectors, the original patented burner and new electronic control panel, that supports both (preset by power and by temperature) modes of operation. It comes complete with everything you will need for installation.

Mounting kit of Planar 44D heater includes all nessesary items for installation to almost every vehicle: Caravan, Boat, Motorhome, Truck, RV and ets.

Planar 44D diesel heater comes in as follows:

  • 5.0 m - Fuel pump wirring
  • 1.0 m - Stainless exhaust pipe
  • 1.6 m - Controller wirring
  • 5.5 m - Plastic fuel line
  • 0.6 m - Plastic air intake pipe with silencer

* Please note, that PLANAR air heaters with production date 16.11.2016 or older does not support Ventilation mode. You can check your air heaters PLANAR production date on the warranty card.
** Please note, that all PLANAR air heaters need external temperature sensor(assy.1458), for "Power mode" and "Ventilation during heating” function.
PU-5 Controller operating modes:
"Power mode"
(If the external sensor is not connected)
  • Designed for quickest possible heating of the space;
  • The heater operates continuously at a set power.

** "Temperature mode"
(If the external sensor is connected)
  • Designed to heat the space to the required temperature;
  • Heat output decreases as the difference between the desired temperature and the temperature in the space decreases.

* "Ventilation mode"
  • Designed for air circulation in the space.

** "Ventilation during heating" - function
(If the external sensor is connected)
  • Designed to maintain the required temperature in the space;
  • After the required temperature is reached, the space heating is stopped and space air circulation is performed;
  • Fan function possible for air circulation.
  • Controls the space temperature; if the temperature drops below the set point, the heater will start in Ventilation mode.
By default we complete this kit with plastic fuel tank, but you can choose fuel pick-up pipe instead tank. Just inform us about your decision after paying.

Great heater!

I found this heater for a great price and ordered it knowing it will take a long time to get. It was shipped out immediately, but was in customs for 6 weeks. All in all it took 7 weeks from order to delivery. It was easy to Install after researching and watching YouTube videos. I was able to find installation instructions in English online. The heater was shipped with Russian manuals. Bottom line, this is the best deal on a great heater, if you can wait.

    Excellent response to my order. Package arrived in good shape with good tracking once it cleared cuztoms. Great online instructions a d videos for installation. If you are looking to install in a boat, order the boat specific kit. I had to buy the thru hull separately. Also, does not include the cabin temp sensor. I think this would be a desirable item included in the kit. And some additional exhaust insulation wrap. All minor details, but overall ok. I am still i stalling but anticipate no problems.

      I installed the Planar 44D heater and am totally happy with it.
      Only part for improvement would be to add more languages to the Control module.

          Fantastic heater for year round Alaska Boating

          I purchased a 44-D-12 two years ago for use in a boat. I now have approx. 900 hours on the heater with ZERO issues. This has been a fantastic heater for the ALASKA weather I fish in 11 months a year. Thanks again!!
