Kit to replace the control unit heater Thermo90S

Replacement kits include:

• control unit 1pc.
• cable harness adapter 1pc.
• set clamp seal 1pc.
• set cap 1pcs.
• assembly instructions 1pc.

Caution: Replacement kits can only be used for Thermo90S

The control unit and cable harness adapter are designed to be replaced in standard heaters.

When replacing, pay attention to the color-coded connectors!

Note : the wiring harnesses for the cabin heater and fuel pump remain the same.

Set clamp-seal:

If the installation of the control unit is not possible in the standard position, the mounting position can be changed with the help of a clamp and seal.

Seal must be replaced. The mounting position of the Thermo90ST control unit can be any. The position presented performs the protection type 6K9K.

Set of plugs for the circulation pump

The cap is designed for external control of the circulating pump. External control of the circulating pump via the control unit is not possible. To connect an external control of the circulating pump, the plug is turned on instead of the pump connector into the control unit (connector X4). In this case, the pump can be controlled by an external source. Diagnostic polling in the control unit is disabled.

Attention : the external control of the circulating pump must be chosen in such a way that the pump will function during the whole time of the heater operation, including during the purge period. Electrical connections must be leak tight.

Note:

• Please take into account when replacing additional information from the instructions for installation, operation and repair;
• When installing the control unit not on the preheater, its reverse wall should not be insulated, as It is a heat sink from the elements of the unit.
• When installing, pay attention to sufficient distance to heat sources.
• Repairs should only be carried out by certified, certified personnel.
